歡迎來到這幅對我而言意義非凡的作品前，她是《標誌》。當注視著這幅畫時，我相信只要你曾經造訪過、或是關注，甚至熱愛這片土地，你一定能很快的道出——這，就是高雄！
在這畫布上，我做了一個大膽而感性的嘗試。我把高雄這座城市最具有代表性的多處地標，完美地結合在同一個時空裡。
畫面中央那座巍峨聳立、拔地而起的巨大建築，正是承載著高雄奮鬥歷史的「85大樓」；緊鄰在旁的，是擁有前衛、流線型波浪屋頂的「高雄展覽館」；而在它們之上，則是環繞著彩虹般斑斕光芒的「美麗島車站」穹頂。我也揉進了海港的特色，你看那波光粼粼的水面與進出的船隻。
我之所以選擇這些地標，因為它們不只是地圖上的景點，更是深刻在每個人心中的、屬於高雄的 美 麗 且 傲 人的 標 誌。
在創作這幅畫時，我刻意使用了非常鮮豔、大膽且富有表現力的筆觸。你看那天空的湛藍、夕照的金黃，以及穹頂與展覽館屋頂上交織的紫、紅、綠、藍，我幾乎是毫無保留地將顏料堆疊上去。
這鮮豔的筆觸，不只是為了視覺，更是象徵著高雄這座城市的活力與生命力。我畫出的，不只是建築的輪廓，更是心中的悸動，以及那份對家鄉毫無保留的、滾燙的想念。
每當我想起高雄，腦海中浮現的就是這樣充滿活力、熱情且色彩斑斕的模樣。無論走得再遠，家鄉那溫暖的陽光、海港的風和獨特的城市輪廓，永遠是我靈魂最深處的避風港。
我將美麗島車站的玻璃穹頂處理得如同神聖的天光，與海港、建築融為一體，它就像是一個巨大的祝福，降落在生活在這片土地上的每一個人。
我希望當你凝視著這幅畫時，不只能感受到這座都市的進步與氣勢，更能透過這些鮮豔的色彩，體會到創作者內心那份濃濃的鄉愁與悸動。無論你的家鄉在哪裡，但願這幅畫也能勾起你心中對那片熟悉土地的溫熱回憶。

“Hey there! Welcome. Let’s step in front of this piece that holds an incredibly special meaning for me. This is ‘Brilliant Hometown’
Staring at this canvas, I believe that if you’ve ever visited, followed, or simply fallen in love with this land, you’ll be able to name it instantly—this is Kaohsiung!
On this canvas, I made a bold and deeply emotional move. I took several of the most iconic landmarks from the city of Kaohsiung and perfectly blended them into the exact same time and space.
Rising proudly right in the center of the canvas, piercing the sky, is the majestic 85 Sky Tower, carrying the history of Kaohsiung’s hard work and grit. Right next to it is the Kaohsiung Exhibition Center, with its cutting-edge, flowing wave-shaped roof. And arching over them both is the top of Formosa Station, surrounded by a rainbow of vibrant, radiant light. I also wove in the unique spirit of the harbor—just look at that shimmering water and the ships moving in and out.
I chose these specific landmarks because they aren’t just tourist spots on a map. They are the beautiful, proud, and deeply engraved icons of Kaohsiung in everyone’s hearts.
While painting this, I deliberately used incredibly vivid, bold, and expressive brushstrokes. Look at the deep blue of the sky, the golden warmth of the sunset, and the purples, reds, greens, and blues weaving through the dome and the exhibition center’s roof. I piled the paint on with absolutely zero hesitation.
These vibrant strokes aren’t just for visual impact; they symbolize the raw energy and life force of Kaohsiung. I didn’t just paint the outlines of buildings; I painted a sudden flutter in my heart, and that burning, unreserved longing for my hometown.
Whenever I think of Kaohsiung, this is exactly the vibrant, passionate, and colorful picture that pops into my head. No matter how far I wander, the warm sunshine of my hometown, the harbor breeze, and that unique city skyline will always be the safest harbor for my soul.
I treated the glass dome of Formosa Boulevard Station like a beam of sacred heavenly light, melting it together with the harbor and the buildings. It stands there like a massive blessing poured over everyone who lives on this land.
When you look into this painting, I hope you don’t just feel the progress and the grand presence of this city. Through these vivid colors, I hope you can feel the deep nostalgia and passion welling up from the artist’s heart. No matter where your hometown is, may this painting stir up those warm, glowing memories of the land you know best.”
