“Hey there, welcome. Step into this incredibly vibrant, magnificent scenery with me. This piece is titled ‘The Crimson Reeds Echo’

First, follow my brush and look at the very front of the canvas—that sprawling field of crimson reeds at the bottom, burning like a wild fire. I used thick layers of color to build up their untamed, interlocking life force.

Next, let your eyes travel upward, across the shimmering water, and look out at those distant mountains wove with deep blues, dark greens, and purplish reds. Right above them, you’ll see that massive blanket of golden yellow and bright white light pouring down from the sky, like a sacred baptism.

Now, when you take in the crimson reeds up close, the mountains in the distance, and the heavenly light overhead all at once, you’ll notice a wonderful flow of energy taking over the entire canvas.

In this universe, there is a fascinating phenomenon that I like to call ‘echo’—or rather, a mutual shining.
This kind of echo never just exists in beautiful landscapes. Throughout our lives, the moments when two souls meet, when different circumstances perfectly push each other forward, when a story overlaps with reality, or when theory and practice perfectly align… these are the incredibly rare, once-in-a-lifetime ‘echo’ moments in life.

It is a moment of mutual fulfillment.

Just like the crimson reeds in this painting—they only look this breathtakingly vibrant because they have the grounding presence of the distant mountains and the blessing of the heavenly light. And those mountains and the sky? They only avoid looking lonely and detached because they are passionately embraced by this field of reeds on the shore. They mirror each other and complete each other in the exact same time and space.

While creating this piece, I was deeply moved by this massive sense of harmony.
An encounter this beautiful is so brief, yet so precious. So, I told myself in my heart: when we experience moments like this in life, we have to find a way to keep them. That’s why I swung my brush, using the richest colors to permanently carve this split second onto the canvas.
