炙熱的接力(Relay)

Yes, look up at the very top of the painting—that sun I wildly splashed using pure white and high-saturation chrome yellow with radiating brushstrokes. That is no gentle winter sun. That is the most dominant, dazzling midsummer sun, packed with the infinite cosmic energy of the source of life.

And as you follow those intense white beams of light downward, you’ll see the collective portraits of life at the bottom half of the canvas, woven together with untamed purplish-reds, vivid greens, and deep browns. These flowers and plants up here are definitely feeling the heat. Instead of withering under the scorching sun, they are actively fighting their destinies—stretching and growing upward with everything they’ve got, using every ounce of their strength just to catch that solar energy!

While creating this piece, an incredibly high-tension image kept popping into my mind—the exact, split-second moment of a 400-meter relay race on an Olympic track.
