夏天綠色的鋪陳(Summer Green Delight)

“As you stand here in front of ‘Summer Green Delight’

I want to ask you to close your eyes. Right in the middle of this restless, pounding heartbeat of the city, take a deep, slow breath—it’s as if you can actually smell the rich earthiness of the soil and the fragrance of green grass being baked under the warm sun.

Now, open your eyes. What floods your vision is a sprawling, endless sea of emerald green. With my brush, I took summer’s most organic, lush meadows and laid them directly into the canvas of your heart.

On the bottom half of the canvas, I layered shades of grass green, deep forest green, and olive green, weaving them together with tiny, splattered white wild flowers that look like a constellation of stars. It stretches across the earth—grounded, simple, and wide open. And right at the edge of this horizon, a solid row of lush summer woods stands tall and proud, blocking out all the noise and chaos of the outside world. But the most striking part is that blazing midsummer sun in the sky. Using near-radiating rays of brushstrokes, I painted flashes of golden and brilliant white light piercing through the treetops, turning into beams of physical warmth that pour down onto this emerald meadow without holding anything back.

Staring into a scene like this, does a voice begin to rise up from deep inside you?

‘Ah! This is the earth!’ That involuntary cry of wonder is actually a profound reflection of the deepest craving locked inside every city dweller.

Every day, we live in a jungle built of steel and concrete. Our feet step on cold asphalt, and our eyes look up at a sky clipped into pieces by high-rises. We’ve grown so used to the suffocating pace of city life that, without even realizing it, we’ve dried up our primal instinct to connect with nature. When a city person finally stands before an ocean of green with absolutely no boundaries—that sudden rush of emotion when you kick off your shoes and step onto the grass, that grounding feeling of being unconditionally accepted by the earth… that is the shock wave this painting wants to give you.

While creating this piece, my heart felt an incredible sense of release and serenity. Every single brushstroke felt like laying down a layer of gentle sod over an anxious soul; every dot of sunlight felt like it was actively healing the exhaustion brought on by city life.

‘Summer Green Delight’ is an invisible forest I built for the weary modern soul.

It doesn’t ask you to climb mountains or cross rivers to find it. As long as you stand right here, this purest, most natural emerald green will actively spread out on its own, weaving into your heart and filling all those emotional blanks left behind by our endless busyness.
